Dr. Jamil J. Al-Bagawi has been leading National Champions since its inception in 2021, and is with Aramco since 1995.

He has served in a number of leadership positions at Saudi Aramco, including as Saudi Aramco’s Chief Engineer.  In addition to this, he has served as chairman and board member for multiple companies and organization’s boards. He has also served both as the Board Chairman of the Saudi Council of Engineers for Saudi Arabia and the President of Federation of Engineering Institutions of Islamic Countries (FEIIC).

Dr. Al-Bagawi has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s General Management Program. He is also a certified engineering arbitrator.
